Dr. Dena Dubal

Dr. Dena Dubal is a physician-scientist and Professor of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, where she holds the David Coulter Endowed Chair in Aging and Neurodegenerative Disease. She leads a research laboratory exploring the molecular and genetic mechanisms of brain resilience and longevity in aging, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease. Her discoveries have been featured in The New York Times and The Economist, and she is a recipient of the Paul Beeson Award, Glenn Award, and Grass Award. Dr. Dubal serves in leadership roles with JAMA Neurology, the Glenn Foundation, and UCSF’s Weill Institute for Neurosciences.
